Brandraising Workshop at Big Duck

Brandraising Workshop at Big Duck

We may be biased, but we think Brooklyn’s a pretty great place. And we’re inspired by the many great organizations—like yours—that are working hard right here to make a difference.

This month, we’ve teamed up with Big Duck and Brooklyn Community Foundation to show our love for the Brooklyn-based nonprofit community and host a free Brandraising workshop. Join us at Big Duck’s office (20 Jay Street, Suite 524) from 9:00–11:00 a.m. on June 14th.

Based on Big Duck Principal and Founder Sarah Durham’s book, Brandraising: How Nonprofits Raise Visibility and Money Through Smart Communications, this 1.5 hour workshop will help you spread some good across the borough by improving your organization’s communications.

You’ll hear about ways to create a compelling message that expresses the personality of your organization, attracts members or clients, and takes your organization to the next level. With the proper messaging in place, you’ll better understand the tools you need to communicate online and off, and ensure your organization’s staff and board are speaking with one voice. You’ll also hear about how others have used “brandraising” techniques to reposition themselves in a fresh, modern way.

You’ll have the chance to meet some of your fellow Brooklyn nonprofiteers, share ideas with each other, and explore how brandraising can help you raise awareness for your organization.

We hope to see you on the 14th, but space is limited. Register today!
