A spectacle not to be missed.

The Great Dumbo Drop is our annual Block Party tradition with a spectacle twist – thousands of elephants dropping onto Washington Street, Brooklyn's most photographed block!

Our second annual #DUMBODROP was held on September 28, 2018. It featured xxx restaurants, xxx activities, xxx, xxx performances and one epic #DUMBODROP.

Did you know? The #DUMBODROP is more than just a party.

THE #DUMBODROP itself is a fundraiser for DUMBO's local Title 1 public STEAM schools, PS307 Elementary School and the Dock Street Middle School.

PS 307 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

An elementary school focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). PS307 encompasses every child from Pre-K to Grade 5. students are immersed in STEM studies throughout their day and within all academic subjects.

THE DOCK STREET MIDDLE SCHOOL

A middle school focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, art and Math (STEAM) with a goal to foster curiosity, independence and problem solving in young people so that they are able to adapt to an ever-changing and complex world.

IN 2017, #DUMBODROP HELPED GIVE OUR SCHOOLS THE RESOURCES THEY NEED TO HELP OUR KIDDOS SHINE.

With #DumboDrop funds, PS307 & The Dock Street School bought classroom supplies, dance costumes and wrestling equipment; bought LittleBits maker kits and computer software; and sent students on field trips to Yale, Harvard and to Randall's Island for a running competition!

In 2018, we raised $20k for our public schools!
