Brooklyn Bridge Park - Pier 5

Anyone who enjoys field games will rejoice at the sight of Pier 5. With an unparalleled view of Lower Manhattan, there are no other fields like these! Three pitches sit side by side on the pier, carpeted with synthetic turf over organic infill made from coconut fibers. Younger children will love the nearby playground filled with colorful play features. Pier 5 also hosts a seasonal outpost of Ample Hills Creamery, a Brooklyn-born favorite for inventive and delicious ice cream. Chefs will also appreciate Pier 5’s Picnic Peninsula, where many public grills and picnic tables provide the ideal setting for a riverside cookout.
